VIP podium pics and viewing of stage finish
Date Wednesday, September 9
Hotel Location Sevilla
Good morning and let’s get going! We’ll take in a few of the sights Sevilla has to offer as we make our way towards the finish area of today’s stage. Sevilla is a popular city for la Vuelta as today will be the 16th time the city has hosted La Vuelta finish-line and will be this edition’s flattest stage. According to Fernando Escartin, “An escape right at the start may mark a day without many expected challenges for the sprinter teams controlling the race and guarantee a sprint finale through the streets of Seville”.
After the tour, we will walk across the finish line and tour the interview area. We will take pictures on the official podium as a group and as individuals. The group will view the finish of this important stage in the VIP venue located near the finish line.
Our VIP venue offers food, drinks, seats and private restrooms. There are TV’s to watch the race before it passes in front of us on the way to the finish line.
Once the stages finishes, we head back to our hotel. You’ll be on your own tonight to continue exploring the town and to sample the local cuisine for dinner on your own or with some of your new friends.

VIP Start Village and transfer to Ronda
Date Thursday, September 10
Hotel Location Ronda
We’ll say goodbye to Sevilla and will transfer south to the start of today’s stage in El Puerto de Santa Maria. The Port of Santa María encompasses the best of the Bay of Cádiz: history, nature and an impressive coastline that extends over 16 kilometers. The Port of Santa Maria is also home to a wine making tradition that has made its iconic wineries famous.
Our VIP viewing today is the start village. The start village is always one of the favorite activities for our guests as you see the racers come out of the team buses and jump on their bikes. Some guests get autographs and pictures with the pros. We will also have access to the team bus paddock where you see the racers up close.
Today’s stage is an individual time trial…a very cool experience. We will be able to see the racers warm up outside of their team busses as they prepare for the race.
After the racers depart, we will find a place for a lunch before transferring to the town of Ronda. Tonight’s hotel is a well-regarded luxury hotel located at the famous Puente Nuevo bridge.
We’ll enjoy a group dinner at the hotel with stunning gorge views that will not disappoint.

After the tour, we’ll check into our Granada and will settle down with snacks and drinks to watch the finish of today’s stage on TV.

The final stage of the Vuelta in Granada VIP venue
Date Sunday, September 13
Hotel Location Granada
Everyone will have the morning free to relax and enjoy the beautiful hotel or explore Granada. We will have our farewell meal at lunch since the VIP venue has such good food later in the evening for our dinner.
After lunch, we will head to the finish of this year’s La Vuelta a España. Granada will be the setting for the final stage of La Vuelta, which will feature the climb to the Alhambra as an added attraction along the circuit of the Nasrid city’s streets. The Granada monument will crown the race’s final winner in a stage where he will, no doubt, have to be an explosive cyclist.
We will view this exciting final stage finish in the Neptuno VIP area. This venue is located very close to the finish line and has food, drinks, open bar, TVs, private restrooms and comfortable seating to enjoy this experience.
This venue is one of the best we have experienced in any of the grand tours.
The final podium is very close and our Vuelta contact will try and get us access to the podium area.
