2015 Tour de France

July 4th to July 26th 2015

The 2015 Tour Stages were just announced and there is a lot to be happy about!
From the very start, there will be many places to gain/loose time, even for the GC riders;

. The initial Time Trial in Utrecht,

. The likely windy second stage,

. the Mur de Huy,

. the cobbles before Cambrai,

. more wind as the race nears LeHavre

. the Mur de Bretagne and...

. the Team Time Trial.

This first "flat" portion of the Tour could create time gaps for sure.

The Pyrenees will see 3 stages with mountain top finish and the transition to the Alps will be fast and not entirely flat. Alpe d'Huez as the penultimate stage just before Paris is sure to draw huge crowds!

The French riders have done well in 2014 and will no doubt try to prove this wasn't a fluke, all of which should make for a great race and great trips.

Once again Custom Getaways will be present on the 2015 Tour de France from the Team Presentation in Utrecht, Netherlands to the Podium in Paris... and everything in between.

This will be our 11th consecutive year partnering with the race organizers to deliver great race experiences.

When it comes to the Tour de France, experience matters a lot and no other outfit has been working with the race organizer as long and as frequently as we have.

Our cycling trips are second to none and are flexible to accommodate anyone: from the performance cyclist who wishes to ride a century daily to the more casual cyclist and our Non-Cycling trips cater to cycling fans who wish to enjoy the race without riding.

Our trips can be fully catered or not, cycling or not, with VIP access and in durations from just a couple of days to the entire Tour de France.

We have started receiving bookings for the 2015 Tour de France already and our tentative trips are listed below (some are already filling up!)

You can see our 2014 trip lineup here while we finalize 2015.

If you still cannot find the trip of your dreams listed, we also offer custom trips and the widest selection of One Day VIP experiences available anywhere.

Signature Series Tours (cycling and non)

These tours are restricted in the number of people they can accommodate. Some of the access offered is unprecedented and unavailable anywhere else. The hotels are always the best available. These trips tend to sell out first as they offer a great variety of experience of the Tour and of France. Staff to guest ratio is about 1 to 3. Non-cyclists are more than welcome and will be catered to as well. When possible we arrange side trips while the cyclists are "doing their thing"!

VIP Access includes: riding a stage of the Tour de France (shorter distances available) and crossing the finish line under race official escort a few hours ahead of the pros, photos on the actual podium, visit of riders' area, press area, technical zones and a lot more.

We will also try to visit with one of the teams during rest-days, perhaps ride their rest-day ride.

Our Signature Series trips will include the use of Garmin Edge bike computers/GPS!
