Welcome to France! We will pick up at the Toulouse Airport (TLS) and go directly to tour the Airbus factory where they build the A380 double decker jet. We will tour the factory and/or museum in this interesting facility located at the Toulouse airport property.

After the tour, we will go to our hotel for our welcome dinner where you will get better acquainted with your guide and fellow travelers.

Each guest will receive a gift from Custom Getaways and from the Tour de France. You will also receive a card for 30% discount off official Tour merchandise.

Day 02

Podium pictures and VIP finish

Date Friday, July 22 Hotel Location Sarlat-la-Canéda

Following breakfast we’ll get packed up and will transfer to Cahors in the Dordogne region, a region set between the Loire Valley and the Pyrenees mountains. A region full of history and more importantly, where the next two stages of le Tour will be located.

We will have the honor of touring the official podium and the finish line. You will have a chance to take pictures to remember this unique experience.

Following the podium, we will enjoy VIP access to view the finish of the stage in the Izoard VIP venue. This venue is located near the finish line and offers finger food, soft drinks, beer, wine and champagne. It also features TVs, air-conditioning and private restrooms…a great way to view the race!

Tonight our hotel will be located in the medieval town of Sarlat-la-Canéda. You will have the evening free to explore and find a place for dinner.

Day 03

VIP viewing of Individual Time Trial in Relais Etape

Date Saturday, July 23 Hotel Location Paris

You will have a little free time this morning to stroll through the local market. This market is well known in the region and is bursting with local culinary delights and wares.

Our next VIP venue is called Relais Etape and is located along the race course. The venue will serve a 4-course meal with soft drinks, beer, wine and champagne. There are TV’s and commentators to describe the action until the races pass in front of us. The atmosphere is electric in anticipation of the racers and their entourage. To add to the excitement, a caravan/parade passes ahead of the race and tosses gifts and gadgets to the crowd.

Because this is the final Individual Time Trial, racers will pass in a fairly constant pattern as they make their way to the finish line.

After the race has finished, we will make the 6 hour transfer to Paris. We’ll stop along the way for comfort stops and will arrive at our Parisian hotel after midnight.

Day 04

Tour finish in VIP venue on Champs Elysees

Date Sunday, July 24 Hotel Location Paris

After a late arrival, you’ll enjoy free time in Paris this morning. Your hotel is ideally located….only a few blocks from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées.

We will meet and walk as a group to the Eiffel Tower, where we will have an excellent lunch with magnificent views of Paris.

After lunch, we will get our steps in as we stroll to our VIP on the Champs-Élysées, where you will view the finish of the Tour de France. You will be seated in the Grand Palais grandstands that serve soft drinks and beer. You will also receive a gift from le Tour. The racers will pass directly in front of you 8 time and 8 times on the other side of the famed, cobble-stoned road…an experience you will not soon forget!
