We will be picking up at the Grenoble train station in the early afternoon and will make our way to our 5-star hotel, located in the village at the top of Alpe d’Huez. We will check-in and get fitted for our bikes and will take a short, 20-30 kilometer ride to test the bike fit and to shake off the dust from traveling.

Our guides are excellent cyclists and a pleasure to be around. They will help with your bike assembly and/or fitting our rental bikes to your specs. Our team of guides has been incredibly stable and is among the most experienced in the industry!

At our welcome dinner, we will get acquainted with our fellow group members and the guides will go over the plan for the upcoming days. You will receive a Tour de France gift bag which will include a cycling jersey from Custom Getaways, a gift from le Tour and the very popular Tour de France road book.

Champagne will be served at the end to toast the stage winner. Each Relais Etape guest will receive a gift from le Tour.
