July 23rd
Hotel Location : Bordeaux region
As Official Tour Operators to the Tour de France, Custom Getaways are able to offer you this fabulous day on the race.
We'll be picking up at Pau airport early today in order to arrive at the start of the stage around the time the Start Village opens and maximize our time/experience there.
Inside the village there are many displays and exhibitions of sponsors. You can collect a few souvenirs, have your photo taken with famous people and riders, try some of the snacks they have available, enjoy a drink and relax in this special environment that few get to enjoy.

You can then visit the rider’s enclosure where you will get close up with all the riders and get to take many photos that will be the envy of your friends back home.
For a cycling enthusiast this is Heaven on Earth!

Before the race starts however we will be on the road as part of our package we will travel the entire route of the stage in an Official Tour de France vehicle complete with driver. We will travel ahead of the race in between the caravan and the riders. Lunch will be provided along the way. The crowds of people will be waving to you as you pass. It is truly a great buzz.

We will arrive at the finish and use the same exit as the race cars will a short time after us. We will then be taken to our exclusive Izoard Hospitality Area just near the finish line where we can do what VIPs do: Enjoy a drink, have a snack served by the Tour hostesses, see the race on television and then get a view of the race finish from a very privileged position. You will be able to soak up the atmosphere as we wait for the race to blast past in a frenzy of colour.

July 24th
Hotel location: Bordeaux Wine Region
This will be the last opportunity for the contenders to the Yellow jersey to make their mark on the 2010 Tour and we want to be in the heart of the action.
We will be viewing the stage from our private and preferred viewing location. We are currently working on a few different options and will select the best toward the early part of 2010. We will be directly on the course however and will also have live TV feed to monitor the progress of the stage throughout the afternoon.

See pictures of our private viewing location setup.

July 25th
Hotel Location: Paris
This is what every professional cyclist aspires to; the arrival of the Tour de France on the Champs-Elysees!
Who will be wearing yellow on the Champs Elysees tonight? We will find out today as we watch the arrival from the Official Grand Stands setup alongside the Champs Elysees by the Tour organizers.

In order to get to Paris, we will take a bullet train from Libourne to Paris. Then a quick metro ride will have us within a short stroll of our hotel.

Once the Tour festivities are over, we will get ready for a great dining experience. This year again we will be renting an entire boat for our dinner-cruise along the Seine river. Great food and unbelievable sight-seeing of Paris by night will end our “sensory overloaded day”!!!

Our hotel is located within walking distance of the Champs Elysees, the Grand stands and the dinner cruise.
