Paris Roubaix Challenge - 135km April 1st, 2012 First run in 1896, Paris-Roubaix is one of the top races on the Pro calendar. After a bit of a tester year in its first edition, the Roubaix Challenge is back and better in 2012. This challenging course will feature such great cobbled section as the Tranchee d'Arremberg and will end on the velodrome. The showers should be made available to participants and you may find yourself washing in a stall named after Merckx, Moser, Boonen or Cancellara! This trip is offered with or without guaranteed entry - your choice. We also offer bikes for rent if you prefer to travel "light".
We will also offer a private feed station along the course (to be determined once we have the exact itinerary).

March 30th to April 2nd, 2012. March 30th; Arrive at CDG airport where we will be picking up from at noon. CDG airport also has a bullet train station, making it very convenient to train or fly-over. From there it will be a relatively short drive to get to our hotel in Saint Quentin. We'll assemble bikes. Those who prefer to rent will get fitted and a short ride will follow to make sure all is functioning properly. Dinner is included this evening.
March 31st; We'll have a ride to get to registration and collect our race packets. We'll even get a a few cobbles so you know what to expect tomorrow. Nothing dramatic, but knowing where to ride will be helpful - cobbles are a special breed and require slightly different technique.
April 1st; Do the ride! We'll have a separate and private feed zone with a few spares planned along the course. Once the race is over we'll head back to our hotel to celebrate.
April 11th; early morning transfer to CDG airport
The trip includes transfers from/to Paris CDG airport and throughout the trip, 3 nights accommodations, 2 dinners, all breakfasts, entry to the race, vehicle support and staff support, private feedzone during the race. |
